# XWayland Errors

## tmp directory position

### fstab

```
sudo nvim /etc/fstab
```

This following line leads to X11 not having the correct permission bit. Can not fix yet.

```
/mnt/DataDrive/.tmp /tmp none bind 0 0
```

## .dot Files

### hyprland.conf

ensure the following is present

```
 env = DISPLAY,:0
```

### ENVariables.conf

ensure the following is present (will fix zen-browser/firefox)

```
env = DISABLE_WAYLAND_COLOR_MANAGEMENT,1
```

### UserSettings.conf

ensure the following is set for Xwayland

```
xwayland {
    enabled = true
    force_zero_scaling = true
    use_nearest_neighbor = false
  }
```
